This wine more than any other represents the high altitude terroir of our vineyard site. A leaner wine than the Frontenac, with pronounced pyrazines, moderate tannin, profoundly deep color, good body and a complementary round acid profile, this wine is reminiscent of other high altitude wine regions such as the Cab Sauvs and Malbecs of Chile and Argentina. Unfiltered.
Tasting Notes: Deep inky purple color, peppery, dried dark fruit and green pepper on nose, white florals and jalapeno, cloves and plums. round dusty tannin. A wine drinker’s wine, lean but easy drinking for it’s imposing appearance.
